Welcome.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or going through a difficult period in life, you’re not alone.
I offer online counselling for adults, providing a calm and steady space where you can talk openly, without pressure or judgement.
I also have a particular interest in supporting men, including younger men who may be feeling overwhelmed, unsure of their direction, or struggling to find a sense of purpose or belonging.
Alongside my private practice, I’m involved in community-based work supporting people through crisis, trauma, and complex life challenges. This has shaped the way I approach counselling, grounded, practical, and able to sit with difficult experiences without rushing or overwhelming the process.
I support people experiencing emotional distress, isolation, trauma, and challenging life circumstances, offering both space to explore what’s going on and practical ways to cope and move forward.
Sessions are a space for you to speak openly at your own pace.
Some sessions may focus on understanding what you’re going through, while others may include practical strategies you can use between sessions.
There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready, and we work together in a way that feels manageable and supportive.
There is also no expectation around the number of sessions you are free to continue for as long as it feels helpful.
How I work:
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a compassionate and evidence-based approach to counselling. ACT supports people in relating differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful steps toward what matters most to them. Rather than trying to eliminate struggle, we focus on building a richer, more fulfilling life alongside life’s challenges.
My work is also informed by training in Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (TFACT), which supports a gentle and paced way of working with trauma, emotional overwhelm, and difficult internal experiences.
